The Teacher Toolkit Series
Our Teacher Toolkit webinar series is ideal for both new and experienced special education teachers who are looking to fine-tune their implementation of best practices to support students with disabilities. The five-part series focuses on the “how-to” of special education instruction. This includes elements such as classroom setup, behavior support strategies, and instructional strategies. Each session is approximately 90 minutes.
Teacher Toolkit participants will:
Identify environmental factors of a universally designed classroom, including lighting options, flexible workspaces, and overall classroom accessibility.
Understand the benefits of using visual supports to create student schedules, staff schedules, and learner prompts.
Unpack standards to increase access to academic content for students with disabilities.
