Resource of the Month – November 2022

Did you know that the Project Success website is full of ready-to-use educator resources, all of which can be easily downloaded or printed? Check out the site for resources on a range of topics, including behavior, IEP goal writing, and formative assessment.

This month’s resource, the Communication/Collaboration Self-Evaluation Checklist, is a useful tool for paraprofessionals and their collaborating teachers to use throughout the year. It’s a great way to make sure paras know what their duties are with proactive support from the teacher. In one district we work with, a discussion about para responsibilities between a teacher and the principal led to the principal allowing the team extra time to meet and discuss goals for students so they can see more growth in their class. The teacher was very happy to set up this meeting and is looking forward to a clear and collaborative relationship with her paras.
