Writing Standards - Aligned IEP Goals (2017) (39:31)

This webinar discusses best practices for the IEP process, as well as the steps for writing measurable IEP goals. Easy to implement tools and resources are shared throughout the webinar, as well as examples. This webinar was prepared and delivered during the 2017 school year. 

Paraprofessional Webinars

The paraprofessional webinars listed below are a series of recordings specifically aimed to help paraprofessionals in their role supporting teachers and students in the classroom.

  • Understanding Culture & Bias (54:48)

    This Project Success webinar is designed to provide paraprofessionals with a deeper understanding of culture, cultural identity, and explicit vs. implicit bias. Self-reflection around these topics, as well as knowledge of how these influence student behavior and student-teacher/para interventions, provides a foundation for culturally responsive practices in the classroom.

  • Effective Paraprofessional-Teacher Communication & Collaboration (39:46)

    This second session is designed to support effective communication between paraprofessionals and teachers. Topics include different modes of communication, exploration of communication styles, and practical tools to help facilitate communication.

  • High Expectations (45:55)

    The third webinar in the series is designed to present the building blocks for inclusive mindset with regard to students with significant disabilities: High Expectations, Least Dangerous Assumption, and Presumed Competence.
